Is JobWave free to use? +
Yes, creating an account, browsing jobs, saving jobs, setting alerts, and tracking your applications are all completely free for job seekers.
Where do the job listings come from? +
We aggregate listings from multiple sources including JSearch, Adzuna, Remotive, The Muse, MyJobMag, HotNigerianJobs, and Jobberman — plus jobs posted directly by employers on JobWave. New listings are refreshed automatically twice a day.
What's the difference between "Apply Now" and "Track Application"? +
"Apply Now" appears on jobs posted directly on JobWave by employers your application is submitted right here and the employer reviews it in their dashboard. "Track Application" appears on aggregated listings from other job sites — you apply on the original site, then click Track Application to log it in your personal JobWave tracker so you can keep tabs on your progress.
Will I be notified if a job I applied to changes status? +
For jobs posted directly on JobWave, yes you'll get an email if the employer moves you to Interview, Offer, or Rejected. For aggregated jobs, JobWave can't see what happens on the original site, so you'll need to update your own tracker manually. You will get notified by email if a tracked job closes or expires.
How do I post a job as an employer? +
Register for an employer account, then go to "Post a Job" from your dashboard. Every submission is reviewed before going live to keep listings genuine and spam-free.
How long does job approval take? +
We review employer submissions as quickly as possible. You'll see the status update on your "My Postings" page, and receive a note if a listing needs changes before it can go live.
Can I edit or close a job I've posted? +
Yes — from "My Postings" you can edit a listing (it will need re-approval) or close it once the role is filled.
How do job alerts work? +
Set a keyword, location, or job type on the Alerts page, and JobWave will email you when new matching listings come in — daily or weekly, your choice.
